Co.Ram s.r.l. was founded as a manufacturer of equipment for the aluminium foundry, specializing in one area, "gravity", where the metallurgical quality, always characterizing feature of this technique for the production of jets, must be maintained at very high levels even though, for market needs, there is a continuous search of economies on the process. This is why Co.Ram has developped a range of machines, including holding furnaces, melting furnaces, degassing plants, and many others that after decades of experience made on the field can boast of having achieved the goal, which is to ensure all those who are the metallurgical aspects at the lowest cost of ownership, management and maintenance. Some years ago we approached almost casually the world of die casting, tranferring our experience in an area where the care of metallurgy has become a reality to be taken into account, because customer requirements were gradually modifiyng, looking for not only the price and the number but also for mechanical strenght, percentage elongation, grain refining, modification of eutectic, absence of inclusions (hard points of various nature) etc, etc... Our recent major satisfactions have just come by providing renowned foundries of die casting, with metallurgical treatments plants (degassing-deoxidation, refining) and holding furnaces, allowing to reduce the costs of production with significant improvements in quality.
